For the month of september 2017 I have a residency at Circolo Scandinavo in Rome, Italy.
As part of the residency, there will be an artist presentation and I will create a new work, tentatively titled Librum Canticum (the singing library). I’m researching and developing the sound of wisdom; what is the sound and hidden music of stored knowledge? This will be investigated through sampling and filming of libraries and bookstores around Rome, to explore the sonic properties of words, pages, books, shelves, libraries.
